Meet the Tutor
Leanne has been working with students throughout Orange County, and the surrounding areas for almost two decades. With a background in Biological Sciences, pursuing an education in pediatric medicine, She has a love for all things relating to children and academia. Along her course, God changed her path and gave her six children of her own; allowing her to become a full time mom and volunteer. About 17 years ago, Leanne's son’s teacher overheard her explaining some math concepts to him and asked if she was ever a teacher. She replied, “No, I had just taken a lot of math courses throughout college (mainly because it kept her GPA high)”; she then asked if Leanne would be willing to come and help other students in her class that struggled in math. This was Leanne's first step in a new career of teaching other students. Leanne began getting requests from parents, and subsequently started working with a few middle and high school students, focusing mainly on math and chemistry. Now, Leanne can happily say, "I have helped over 250 students with great success. I truly believe that God redirected my path and placed me where I can use my experience and passion for education and children to impact our world."

Personalized Lessons
School year sessions are one-on-one, so students can be authentic, and I can assess them according to their abilities. Summer sessions will be either one-on-one or in small groups (maximum of 3 students) all at the same level of learning.

Math Review and Preview
Review of the key math concepts at their current grade level to have a mastery of those concepts needed to be successful before entering the next level. Also, building self-confidence in their ability to comprehend complex concepts and be successful in their math skills. A slight preview of what is to come as they begin their next level, so they start off the new school year with an understanding and knowledge of beginning concepts.

Math Review and Preview
Students will learn common formatting styles for writing (MLA, APA, & Chicago) of essays and short-term papers. Sessions will focus on thematic, argumentative, and compare and contrast essays. Covering beginning brainstorming through final edits. Grammar, sentence structure, and syntax will be covered. Students will learn basics on the formation of hooks, history & background, transitions, and creating a clear and concise thesis.

These sessions will include reading appropriate, grade-level books, essays, poetry, and short stories. Comparing literary styles of authors, genres, and key literary elements (plot, setting. characters interactions, point of view and voice, theme, word choice, irony, symbolism, & imagery) After reading for fluency students will have short answer questions to increase comprehension and analysis of text.
Summer Registration 2025
Summer Registration will begin May 1st, 2025
Summer Sessions consist of 8 / 50-minute sessions.
If booked consecutively (5 days / 3 days or 4 day/ 4 days) - $400.
If booking 8 sessions sporadically - cost $450.
Students will receive a personal notebook with all their own practice worksheets.
